How to Join

Although Brigantes events are held in the North of England, Membership of Brigantes is open to all qualifying Liverymen wherever they may live worldwide 

Over 2,000 Liverymen of the City of London are resident in the North of England, with over 40 Companies having 10 or more Liverymen in this area. 

To enable Liverymen of all Companies to meet together in the North, including those less able to travel regularly to London, the Brigantes Association was born - the name deriving from the Brigantes tribe which occupied a similar geographical area in pre-Roman times. 

Membership of Brigantes is open to all Liverymen of the City of London, and to Members of the Worshipful Company of Parish Clerks and the Company of Watermen and Lightermen, who are in good standing with their Company.

Subscribing Members receive invitations to events around two to three weeks before Supporters.
